Privacy notice

This notice explains how BFW Transfers handles information provided through enquiries, bookings and use of this website.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

Who is responsible for your information

BFW Transfers Ltd, company number 16787498, is the controller for personal information used to answer enquiries and provide transfer services. Contact bookings@bfwtransfers.co.uk or 01253 366130 with a privacy question.

Information we collect

  • Names, telephone numbers and email addresses supplied during an enquiry or booking.
  • Pickup and destination addresses, dates, times, flight details, passenger numbers, luggage and journey requests.
  • Payment and transaction records where a journey is booked and paid for.
  • Your cookie choice and, only after consent, website analytics information.

Why we use it

  • To answer enquiries, prepare quotes and perform an agreed transfer contract.
  • To communicate journey, driver and collection details.
  • To meet accounting, licensing, safety and other legal obligations.
  • To understand website use where analytics consent has been given.

Lawful bases

Processing may be necessary to take steps before or perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate business interests or act on consent. Consent can be withdrawn for optional analytics or marketing without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Who receives information

Journey details may be shared with the assigned driver, an agreed transfer partner or service providers needed to operate communications, payments and business systems. Providers must only use the information for the service they supply. BFW does not sell personal information.

Retention and security

Journey, accounting and licensing records may be retained for up to six years where required. Enquiries that do not proceed are kept only as long as reasonably necessary. Appropriate organisational and technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

  • Ask for access to or correction of your personal information.
  • Ask for erasure or restriction where the law allows.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent.
  • Ask for portable data where the legal conditions apply.
